The back of this restored postcard reads: "The annual TC 250 Snowmobile Races held in mid-January draws tens of thousands to view 50 of the Midwest's finest snowmobiles and drivers as they compete for over 15,000 in prizes The 250-mile race is held on a 3/4 mile banked course, constructed exclusively for snowmobile racing." A note says, "In 1969, more than 20,000 people attended the Traverse Winter Carnival that ended with a snowmobile race that is ranked in the top ten in the nation."
