The back of this restored postcard says, "This old, old original Indian school is said to be the oldest Indian Mission in the entire region. Take M-37 North out of Traverse City, along Old Mission peninsula, where beautiful scenery and cherries are everywhere, and you will come to this interesting old building. Also visit the old lighthouse nearby which stands almost exactly on the 45th parallel". Then at the bottom it says, "Distributed by The Camera Shop, Traverse City, Mich. Color by Phil Balyeat."
