The Beaver Islander in Charlevoix
The Beaver Islander passes the Charlevoix South Pier Lighthouse at the end of its journey on Lake Michigan as it heads into home port in Charlevoix, Michigan. The Beaver Islander and its sister, the Emerald Isle, are owned by the Beaver Island Boat Company. Each day, they haul passengers and freight to the island of 600 people.
