Yes, those are green M&Ms. And no, I did not purposely give them to the seagulls. But when you are innocently reading on the beach and a seagull lands on your head and begins screaming "MINEMINEMINE!!" while slapping you silly, it's difficult to control your reflexes. At least they hung around so I could take their picture.
